Yes. you’ll need a valid referral from your GP to see our specialist. This helps ensure Medicare rebates apply and that we have the right background to support your care.
What are your fees, and can I claim a Medicare rebate?
Fees vary depending on the type of appointment and procedures required. With a valid referral, many services are eligible for a Medicare rebate. Our admin team will happily explain costs before your visit.
Can you help with fertility and IVF concerns?
Absolutely. We provide fertility assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care, including IVF support, in collaboration with trusted IVF providers.
Who will I see during my visit?
Birds of Paradise is led by one specialist doctor, supported by a caring all-female team including a nurse, midwife, practice manager, and secretary. You’ll be in safe, experienced hands every step of the way.
How do I book an appointment?
Give us a call or ask your GP to send a referral directly. Once we receive your referral, we’ll contact you to schedule your appointment.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your Medicare card, GP referral, any recent test results, and a list of medications you’re taking. If you’ve had treatment elsewhere, previous records can be helpful too.
